Mx. Bond is an amazing independent queer artist. V’s last album “Dendrophile” (highly recommended by yours truly) was funded entirely out of Mx. Bond’s own pocket. Mx. Justin Vivian Bond is a transgendered singer, actor and artist. Mx. Bond does not conform to the binary gender system and has a preferred pronoun of ‘v’. For many years v performed as Kiki DuRane, an aging alcoholic lounge singer, in the cabaret duo ‘Kiki and Herb’. V has released one solo album called ‘Dendrophile’ and has just funded a new album called ‘Silver Wells’ on kickstarter.
